RISQUES ET APTITUDES A LA NATATION EN EAU LIBRE<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<p><strong>S\u00e9curit\u00e9 et aptitude \u00e0 la pratique de la nage en eau libre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La participation <strong>au Flow des Gabarriers<\/strong> implique une pratique sportive en milieu naturel et comporte des risques sp\u00e9cifiques, qui peuvent \u00eatre diff\u00e9rents et plus importants que ceux rencontr\u00e9s en piscine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>?? LA NAGE EN EAU LIBRE COMPORTE DES RISQUES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le participant est inform\u00e9 que la nage en rivi\u00e8re peut notamment exposer \u00e0 des risques li\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00e0 la distance et \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve, pouvant entra\u00eener une fatigue importante<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau et aux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d&rsquo;hypothermie ou, selon les conditions, de surchauffe<\/li>\n<li>aux conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, au courant, au vent et aux variations du niveau de l&rsquo;eau<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 et aux caract\u00e9ristiques du milieu naturel<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 l&rsquo;effort physique prolong\u00e9, pouvant notamment entra\u00eener malaise, perte de connaissance ou probl\u00e8me cardiovasculaire<\/li>\n<li>au stress, \u00e0 l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 ou \u00e0 une mauvaise appr\u00e9ciation de ses propres capacit\u00e9s<\/li>\n<li>\u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de nager dans un environnement naturel pouvant \u00eatre plus exigeant qu&rsquo;une pratique en piscine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La pr\u00e9sence de dispositifs de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de secours mis en place par l&rsquo;organisation ne supprime pas ces risques et ne dispense pas le participant d&rsquo;une vigilance personnelle constante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>? APTITUDE M\u00c9DICALE ET CONDITION PHYSIQUE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Avant de s&rsquo;inscrire et avant de prendre le d\u00e9part, chaque participant doit s&rsquo;assurer qu&rsquo;il est <strong>physiquement et m\u00e9dicalement apte<\/strong> \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve choisie, compte tenu notamment de sa distance, de sa dur\u00e9e pr\u00e9visible et des conditions de pratique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il appartient \u00e0 chaque participant de consulter son m\u00e9decin s&rsquo;il existe un doute concernant son aptitude \u00e0 pratiquer la nage en eau libre ou \u00e0 participer \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve choisie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le participant s&rsquo;engage \u00e0 ne pas prendre le d\u00e9part s&rsquo;il pr\u00e9sente une contre-indication m\u00e9dicale, un \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 incompatible avec l&rsquo;effort, ou s&rsquo;il estime que sa condition physique du jour ne lui permet pas de participer dans des conditions de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 satisfaisantes.<\/p>\n<p>Il lui appartient \u00e9galement de signaler \u00e0 l&rsquo;organisation toute information m\u00e9dicale utile \u00e0 sa prise en charge en cas d&rsquo;urgence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSABILIT\u00c9 ET COMPORTEMENT DU PARTICIPANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le participant reconna\u00eet que les moyens de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de surveillance mis en place par l&rsquo;organisation constituent un dispositif d&rsquo;assistance et de pr\u00e9vention, mais ne garantissent pas l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;incident ou d&rsquo;accident.<\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;engage \u00e0 respecter l&rsquo;ensemble des consignes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 donn\u00e9es par l&rsquo;organisation, les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, les kayakistes, les \u00e9quipes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les \u00e9ventuels personnels m\u00e9dicaux ou de secours.<\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;engage notamment \u00e0 signaler imm\u00e9diatement toute difficult\u00e9, douleur, malaise, fatigue anormale ou incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 poursuivre l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve et \u00e0 accepter toute d\u00e9cision d&rsquo;arr\u00eat ou de sortie de l&rsquo;eau prise pour des raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>? Swimmers must not, under any circumstances, throw waste or any other items into the Charente or on its banks. Any disposal of waste outside the bins provided for this purpose is prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>The organisers and competitors undertake together to respect and preserve this space. No littering will be tolerated. Competitors who take their supplies with them under their wetsuit or swimsuit, particularly in the form of gel or wrapped bars, must bring the packaging ashore and deposit it in the bins provided for this purpose. The participant agrees to receive any medical care and treatment that may be necessary during the competition.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"nectar-responsive-text nectar-link-underline-effect\"><p>The costs of medical treatment are not included in the entry fee and will be borne by the participant. It is the responsibility of the participant, whether or not they are a licence holder to take out any necessary or useful personal insurance  (civil liability and personal accident insurance) covering in particular the cost of any medical treatment. The Cognac region offers a multitude of accommodation options, Destination Cognac and Charente Tourisme will be able to guide you if necessary. The towpath linking the Place du Solen\u00e7on to the RN141 bridge allows you to follow the swimmers on foot along the route. It is possible to meet the marathoners on the banks of the Charente from Ch\u00e2teauneuf-sur-Charente via \"La Flow V\u00e9lo\".<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"nectar-responsive-text nectar-link-underline-effect\"><p>Each participant will show respect for the other competitors, the organisers, the spectators and the people living in the race area. Participants must provide assistance within the limits of their abilities and\/or report a participant in difficulty to the organisers, even if this means going off course or losing time. Participants in the Flow Des Gabarriers (swimmers, coaches, logistical support) commit themselves to respect all the rules of the event as stated above.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"nectar-responsive-text nectar-link-underline-effect\"><p>Any contravention of these competition rules may result in disqualification, as decided by the organisers. Any behaviour contrary to sporting ethics will be sanctioned by various penalties, which may include a ban on participation.
